AARP Long Island volunteers will be on site with information about local events and community outreach efforts. Advanced registration is required for each screening. Attendees will receive a free movie ticket. And while supplies last – a free small popcorn, and free small soda. Everyone is welcome to attend, no AARP membership required.

A STAR IS BORN. Starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, was one of the top-grossing films of 1976. A Star Is Born (2018) isn't a true story but is now the fourth film adaptation of a timeless Hollywood tale. The story follows a seasoned star falling for a struggling singer, a narrative first seen in a 1937 film (Janet Gaynor/Frederic March), then remade in 1954 (Judy Garland/James Mason) and 1976, and then in 2018 with Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper.
