AARP Chicago will sponosr a two-hour Veterans Recognition Luncheon celebrating the long-standing history of veteran service in Chicago. The event will honor four local veterans for their dedicated service to the veteran community, educate attendees on AARP benefits available to veterans and their families, and invite participants to become AARP ambassadors and volunteers.
Join faith leaders, elected officials, community organizations, and residents for the As One Prayer Walk 2026, a gathering dedicated to unity, healing, hope, and community engagement.
Together, we will walk in prayer and fellowship from the historic South Side community to the emerging landmark of the Obama Presidential Center, demonstrating our shared commitment to strengthening neighborhoods, supporting families, and building a brighter future for all generations.
