Join us on July 14 at 1:00 PM for a powerful Inclusion by Design event co-sponsored by the ACCESS ERG, Interfaith ERG and OII. Our CEO, Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan, will share remarks about AARP’s accessibility journey, followed by a conversation with Lauren Ridloff, former Ms. Deaf America, actor, teacher, and influential leader in the Deaf community.

Lauren bridges Deaf and hearing worlds by highlighting both the challenges and strengths of Deaf culture. She’ll share insights from her remarkable career journey—from teaching kindergarten in Manhattan to earning a Tony Award nomination for Children of a Lesser God, starring in AMC’s The Walking Dead, and becoming the first Deaf superhero in Marvel’s Eternals. Lauren will also reflect on community, confidence, representation, and the importance of inclusion by design.

🎁
Bonus: The first 50 people who register and attend (virtual or in-person) will receive a digital copy of Nyle Dimarco's memoir, Deaf Utopia.

🎉 Celebration with refreshments will follow the event.

Please join us for this inspiring ACCESS ERG experience—you won’t want to miss it.
