
Virtual Scam Jam: Protect Yourself from Fraud and Scams in Oregon
Join AARP Oregon and the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, Division of Financial Regulation, for a free virtual Scam Jam focused on current fraud trends, consumer protection updates, and practical tools to help Oregonians recognize and avoid scams.
This 90-minute event will feature speakers from AARP and Oregon DCBS/Division of Financial Regulation sharing information about scams affecting people across Oregon, including emerging trends, cryptocurrency-related concerns, tips for protecting yourself and loved ones, and resources available through the AARP Fraud Watch Network.
The event is free and open to everyone. You do not need to be an AARP member to attend. Registration is requested, and non-members may create a free account to register.
