Volunteer Appreciation Candle-Making Social

 Join your fellow AARP Jacksonville team members for a fun and relaxing volunteer appreciation event! We'll kick things off with a guided candle-making experience where you'll create your own custom candle to take home. The candle-making portion will take approximately one hour, followed by a 1-2 hour drying period.
While your candle sets, enjoy time with other team members in the venue's game area. Take advantage of the pool tables, arcade games, and shuffleboard, or simply relax and connect.

AARP will provide light bites and bottled water.

Additional beverages will be available for purchase. The venue features a self-pour tap wall offering beer, wine, and kombucha, as well as Coke products. Tap wall beverages are priced by the ounce based on what each guest pours. If you plan to purchase beverages, please bring a credit card or cash, as these purchases will not be covered by AARP.

This event is limited to the first 24 participants who register, and registration through the Cvent link is required to confirm your spot. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be available. If cancellations occur, openings will be filled from the waitlist in the order requests are received.

Eligibility: These opportunities are intended for currently active volunteers who have completed the volunteer application and onboarding process (you have received your login for the Volunteer Portal). A good guideline is that you have volunteered at an event and/or attended a monthly volunteer meeting (virtually or in person) within the past six months.
