Free Uber Workshop

Ride with Confidence: Learn How to Use Uber
Ready to go places with confidence? Join AARP, Senior Tech Connect, and the Village of Palmetto Bay for a free workshop designed to help older adults learn how to safely and confidently use Uber for their transportation needs.

During this interactive session, participants will:

• Learn the basics of the Uber app, including how to download the app, create an account, and enter payment information.
• Explore accessibility features such as Simple Mode.
• Receive tips for safely requesting and managing rides.
• Put their new skills into practice through a guided, hands-on learning experience with instructor support.

 Lunch will be provided following the session.

Important Information:

• Space is limited.
• Registration is required.
• Participants are encouraged to bring a smartphone or tablet and have their Apple ID or Google Play account login information available.
