Join AARP at the Capitol to Rally for Caregivers

Join us this Wednesday, May 20, and show the Ohio legislature that caregivers need support.

There is crucial state legislation that will provide much-needed relief to Ohio’s family caregivers. Things are moving quickly, and your presence will demonstrate strong support for the bill. The Family Caregivers Tax Credit will help working family caregivers provide essential care that keeps their older loved ones at home.

AARP Ohio and our coalition partners are providing proponent testimony before the Ways and Means Committee of The Ohio House of Representatives. The sea of red AARP t-shirts in the hearing room will demonstrate our commitment to helping Ohio's caregivers.

Time is running out to get the tax credit over the finish line by the end of this legislative session! So, please join us at the Ohio Statehouse May 20 and add your voice to support family caregivers in Ohio.

Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Mileage and parking are reimbursable. Don't forget your AARP Ohio t-shirt!
