Join us for an evening to reflect and celebrate all we’ve done together in 2026 to empower Minnesotans to choose how they live as they age. From passing a cryptocurrency kiosk ban to shining a light on the contributions and challenges of family caregivers to being a friendly and knowledgeable resource for communities across Minnesota, AARP volunteers have turned passion into purpose and action into impact. That is worth celebrating!

- 5:45 PM – Jazz Performance by Courtney Burton Music (AARP MN’s Volunteer State President!)
For volunteers located outside of the Twin Cities area, AARP Minnesota will cover mileage and lodging for you to attend. Contact Erin (esimon@aarp.org | 651-726-5643) for arrangements.
Guests are welcome and can be added to your registration.

Parking & Transit Information
Animales offers limited parking in our restaurant lot, with additional street parking along Fremont Ave N and 2nd Ave N. Free parking is also available in our large lot on Glenwood Ave, just a 4-minute walk to our front doors. Google Maps link to the parking lot HERE.
Animales is easily accessible by public transit — just half a block from the Route 9 stop at Glenwood Ave & Van White Memorial Blvd. Route 9 connects neighborhoods including Downtown, Uptown, Bryn Mawr, and the North Loop, with frequent service to Target Field Station and major bus and light-rail connections.
