Caregiving - The Faces of Love and Care

AARP Florida Volunteers are invited to a special program dedicated to exploring the many faces and experiences of caregiving.

Join fellow volunteers from across the state for an informative and inspiring gathering as we shine a spotlight on caregiving and the vital role caregivers play in our families and communities. You'll hear from Jeff Johnson, AARP Florida State Director; Laura Streed, Director of Outreach & Engagement; and Ken Thomas, Volunteer State President, along with an outstanding lineup of special guests.

We are delighted to welcome Selena Caldera, AARP Senior Strategic Policy Advisor for Caregiving; Connie Siskowski, Founder and President of the American Association of Caregiving Youth; and the always-entertaining Balcony Divas.

This special event will also highlight Florida's Caregiving Blitz, a statewide effort to elevate caregiver voices, increase awareness of caregiving challenges, connect families with valuable resources, and inspire action in support of Florida's caregivers. Learn how volunteers are helping bring caregiving conversations into communities across the state and discover opportunities to support this important initiative.

Hosted by the Florida VOLTS (Volunteer Lead Trainers), this gathering promises meaningful conversation, practical information, and plenty of inspiration.
