AARP Oklahoma Andrus Awards Luncheon

Join AARP Oklahoma as we honor local volunteers for their dedication, commitment, and creativity at the 2026 AARP Oklahoma Andrus Award and Volunteer Recognition Luncheon.   The Andrus Award is AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service! The award recognizes individuals who are sharing their experience, talent, and skills to enrich their communities in ways that are consistent with AARP’s purpose, vision, and commitment to volunteer service and that inspire others to volunteer.   AARP Oklahoma will present a crystal Andrus Award to the winner and a $2500 contribution to an eligible nonprofit organization of the Andrus Award winner’s choice. Additionally, AARP will recognize three honorees of distinction. AARP Oklahoma will contribute $1,000 to an eligible nonprofit organization of each of the honorees distinction of choice.   AARP Oklahoma will also recognize AARP Foundation Volunteers of Year for their outstanding service to the community.   The awards recipient will be announced on December 2nd at the Pepperoni Grill in Edmond, OK.
