Understanding income taxes can be challenging, especially as tax laws, deductions, and credits continue to change. Join us for an informative and engaging presentation designed to help older adults better understand tax topics that may affect them and learn about resources available right here in our community.
Our presenter, Pam Nintrup, serves as the Ohio 3 Assistant State Coordinator, Training Specialist, and Local Coordinator for the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program in District 18. Pam has been an active Tax-Aide volunteer since 2018 and brings a wealth of knowledge from her professional career with companies including Procter & Gamble, U.S. Shoe, GRE Insurance Group, and Great American Insurance. After many years in project management and process improvement, she started her own consulting business before choosing to dedicate her time to helping others through volunteer service with AARP.
Today, Pam is proud to be part of the team that provides free tax preparation assistance to residents throughout Hamilton County. During this session, she will share practical information about income taxes, discuss common tax issues that impact older adults, and explain how the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program can help individuals and families navigate tax season with confidence.
Whether you have questions about tax preparation, want to learn more about available resources, or simply want to be better informed, this presentation is for you. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and connect with others in your community while enjoying complimentary snacks and light refreshments.
