This is a virtual training designed to train you to become an AARP Speakers Bureau volunteer and help share important information in your community. In this session — focused on In-Person Presentations — you'll learn how to deliver AARP presentations using ready-to-use PowerPoint programs, connect with audiences, and find speaking opportunities in your area.
You'll also explore practical techniques for presentation delivery and audience engagement, and learn how to represent AARP on topics relevant to older adults. Whether you're new to public speaking or looking to strengthen your skills, all experience levels are welcome.
