The fifth annual AARP Rhode Island/Smart Growth America HOUSING FOR THE CARE ECONOMY Workshop opens with a keynote conversation between Alisa Magnotta, CEO of Housing Assistance Corporation, and Joe Gramando, Managing Partner of Green Hub Development, moderated by Scott Wolf of Grow Smart RI. Attendees will hear from Rhode Island Housing Secretary Deborah Goddard and Providence City Council President Rachel Miller, followed by panel discussions on the promise of universal design standards and opportunities for site redevelopment in Providence. The day wraps up with hands-on, facilitated design exercises where participants will explore creative housing solutions and help shape next steps.
