AARP Aberdeen Presents The Wizard of Oz

Click your heels three times and be transported to the Emerald City of Oz with AARP Aberdeen. As the community celebrates Storybook Land Festival weekend, AARP Aberdeen is presenting this FREE showing of The Wizard of Oz, which is open to AARP members and non-members. 

All guests (including children) must be registered. 

Synopsis: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz begins when a cyclone whisks Kansas farm girl Dorothy and her dog Toto to the Land of Oz, where her home fatally topples a wicked ruler. Sent along the Yellow Brick Road to seek help from the great Wizard, she befriends a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodman, and a Cowardly Lion—each hoping the Wizard can grant what they believe they lack—on a peril-filled quest that reveals their strengths were within them all along.

This event is free, but registration is required, and seating is first-come, first-served.

*Please note: this free event is overbooked to ensure a full house. Due to no-shows, it is not likely that we will have more guests than seats, but it is a possibility. Should the event be full, please note that AARP is not required to provide you a ticket to a future show. You can arrive at the event early to select your seat -doors open at 2:15 pm and movie begins at 3:00 pm central.
