Caring for a family member or close friend is one of the most important roles you will ever play, and every caregiving journey is unique. Whether you anticipate future family caregiving or are currently taking care of a loved one, this free workshop offers practical information, tools, and resources that may help make caregiving more manageable.
During the session, we will explore how to assess your loved one’s needs and available resources, start important caregiving conversations, create or update a caregiving plan, build a caregiving team, find local support, and care for yourself while caring for others. You will also have an opportunity to connect with other family caregivers and exchange support, ideas, tips, and information.
