Celebrating the Legacy of Black American Leaders

About the Event

Join AARP California as we celebrate Black History Month by exploring the legacy of Black leaders in this country. We’ll have a conversation with three prominent Californians on how African American history has influenced their lives and helped them make an impact in our state and beyond.

Juanita Dawson, director of cybersecurity and compliance at Raytheon Technologies, will host the conversation with Lonnie Horne of the United Barbers Club and “America’s Favorite Nurse,” Alice Benjamin of the health and wellness website “Ask Nurse Alice.”
