Scammers can now clone your loved one's voice with just a few seconds of audio. They can create flawless phishing emails, build fake websites in minutes, and generate deepfake videos of real people. In this workshop, you'll see and hear how AI-powered scams actually work, including voice cloning, AI-generated emails, and fake online storefronts. We’ll also practice telling the difference between real and fake content. You'll leave with practical skills to protect yourself in the age of AI, from setting up family code words to verifying suspicious contacts. Knowledge is your best defense.

This is a hands-on class so please bring your device (phone, tablet, or laptop) to practice with.

This is the third class in a three-part series. You can attend one, two, or all three classes. To sign up for additional San Diego Scam Jam events, visit aarp.org/sandiegoscamjam.
