Day of Service

Join AARP CT for this brief Day of Service at Enfield Loaves and Fishes, in honor of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We will be doing prep work and other duties as assigned to support their daily community meal:

Work with our kitchen manager and other volunteers to sort through and properly store the donations for the day,  complete basic food prep such as making salads, washing and chopping vegetables, and assist with preparing lunch for the volunteer team.

Volunteers also clean the facility by dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing common areas. Other tasks come up throughout the day that we could use support with!
