What does it really take to stay in the home you love as you age?
Join us for Heart of Home, a welcoming, community‑led conversation focused on aging in place, home modifications, and the real‑life challenges people face when trying to get help. This interactive session brings neighbors, local organizations, and advocates together to share experiences, learn from one another, and connect the dots between needs and solutions.
You’ll hear practical guidance on making your home safer and more accessible, including a connection with those who provide home modification services, and—most importantly—have space to ask questions and be heard. The event is designed to be conversational, not technical, and centered on lived experience.
We’ll also begin preparing for an upcoming community walk and candidate forum by identifying housing priorities and questions residents want leaders to address.
Whether you’re facing home repair challenges now, planning ahead, or supporting a loved one, Heart of Home is a place to learn, share, and connect.
