Watergate’s Unexpected Hero: Peter W. Rodino Jr.

This program examines the life and career of Congressman Peter W. Rodino Jr., who earned national recognition in 1974 for his steady, bipartisan leadership during the Nixon impeachment hearings. The son of an Italian immigrant, Rodino rose from Newark's Little Italy to become a lawyer, decorated veteran, and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
