Led by Friends of Ballona Wetlands docents, this guided walk will take participants through Ballona Discovery Park. Discover the park’s significance, native plants, and the importance of the wetlands. Participants will also have the option to continue the tour across the street to the Freshwater Marsh via the Jefferson Trail to learn more about the wetland ecosystem.

Parking: Street parking is available on Bluff Creek Drive in front of Ballona Discovery Park, or in the parking lot just west of the park in front of Playa Vista Elementary School and Sports Park.

What to Wear: Close-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a hat.
