Be Ballot Ready-What to Know Before Election Day

AARP Maine invites you to a nonpartisan voter engagement event focused on helping Mainers understand their voting options ahead of the November election. We’ll also highlight issues important to older Mainers and why making your voice heard at the ballot box matters. 

 Our featured presenter will be Vanessa Diaz Gaumond, Civic Engagement Coordinator for the Maine Department of Secretary of State, who will lead a voter information and Q/A session. Learn about ranked-choice voting, including when Maine uses it and when we don't, and your options for marking a ranked-choice ballot. Additional topics will include options for how to request, receive, and submit your ballot, and important dates to be aware of. Ample time will be left to answer your specific questions about elections. This event is nonpartisan.
