Caregiving: Film, Stories & Community

Join AARP Maine for a free screening of the documentary Caregiving on Thursday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Northeast Historic Film/ Alamo Theatre in Bucksport. Together, we’ll recognize the important role caregivers play in our families and communities, connect current and former caregivers with helpful resources, and create opportunities to share their experiences. By bringing Maine caregivers’ stories together, we can raise their collective voice, shine a light on the realities of caregiving, and help ensure their needs are heard and reflected in policies that support caregivers and their families. Whether you are a current or former caregiver, know someone who provides care, or simply want to learn more, we invite you to join us. The screening is free and open to the public.
