Join AARP and Reno Food Systems for a hands-on holiday workshop in Reno. Using simple, everyday herbs and natural ingredients, you'll make beautiful gifts to share this season — with recipes and an educational handout to recreate them at home.

What You'll Get:

• Instruction in making herbal lip balms, botanical bath salts, herbal syrups, infused honeys, and culinary herb salts
• Tips for choosing herbs and sourcing ingredients

No prior herbal experience needed.

• Must re-register to join.

About Reno Food Systems:

Reno Food Systems is a non-profit focusing on growing food, feeding people and building community. They lease a 20acre regenerative farm from Washoe County that is located on Mayberry Drive just east of McCarran in west Reno and they also coordinate a community garden in conjunction with the City of Reno at Paradise Park.
