Join AARP CA and Nature Unplugged for a family-friendly morning of unplugged nature time at San Dieguito County Park. This approximately 2-mile hike with the park ranger will offer a chance to learn about local flora and fauna, enjoy fresh air and explore one of San Diego’s beautiful outdoor spaces.
Recommended items to bring:
· Weather appropriate clothing/shoes
· Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm with SPF)
· Water (1 liter)
· Snacks (optional)
· Backpack (optional)
· Hiking poles (optional)
Parking:
Free parking is available just outside the lower entrance on the west side of El Camino Real. Paid parking is also available inside the park.
Meeting Point:
Near the park’s lower entrance and duck pond. Hiking route and exact staging location is subject to change pending ranger confirmation. Updated information will be included in your reminder email.

Please note that you must be signed in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. You will be emailed a reminder prior to the event.
