Hands-On Tamalada & Social Connection

Join AARP and MECA for a hands-on   Tamalada where community members come together to learn the tradition of   making tamales from start to finish. Participants will explore basic   techniques, cultural traditions, and practical tips while working alongside   others in an interactive setting.

This welcoming workshop is designed for the entire community and offers   more than a cooking experience. It is an opportunity to share stories, build   new friendships, strengthen social connections, and celebrate culture through   food and community engagement.
