Explore Vian Sora Through Art-Making

Experience the power of contemporary abstract painting through the work of Vian Sora. This in person event begins with a docent led tour of Vian Sora: Outerworlds, her first solo museum exhibition in the United States, featuring a -decade of vibrant, layered paintings shaped by memory, history, and transformation. Following the gallery tour, participants will take part in a guided, hands-on abstract painting workshop inspired by Sora’s visual language. Using acrylic paints and mixed media techniques, attendees will experiment with color, texture, and movement to create their own small-scale works. All paints and materials are provided by Asia Society Texas Center.
