Growing vegetables in the fall can   be rewarding with the right knowledge and preparation. Join AARP for an in   person gardening workshop presented in partnership with Urban Harvest. This   hands on, educational session will focus on how to successfully grow   vegetables during the fall season in our local climate.

Participants will learn the basics of what to plant for fall, what all   plants need to grow, and how to give young plants the best possible start.   The class also covers planting seasons, seasonal care, and practical   strategies for managing challenging soils and common garden pests.

Whether you are new to vegetable gardening or looking to improve your   harvest, you will leave with practical tips and resources you can use right   away to grow a healthy and productive fall garden.
