Protect yourself from fraud and identity theft while safely clearing out old paperwork at AARP Texas's free Fraud Awareness and Document Shredding Event. Bring up to three boxes of personal documents and have them securely shredded on site. Simply drive through, remain in your vehicle, and AARP volunteers will unload your materials for safe disposal.
In addition to secure document shredding, attendees are invited to attend a Fraud Watch Basics presentation from 10:00–11:00 a.m. MT, where AARP experts will share tips on recognizing common scams, protecting sensitive information, and staying one step ahead of fraudsters.
