Hispanic Genealogy Basics Workshop

Curious about your family roots? AARP invites you to join this free, beginner-friendly genealogy workshop presented by the Bexareno Genealogical and Historical Society. You'll learn the basics of family history research, discover helpful genealogy tools and resources, and pick up practical tips for starting your own family history journey.

The workshop will also highlight resources and strategies that can be especially helpful for Hispanic and Mexican American families. Attendees will learn about common research challenges, available historical records, and cultural resources that may help uncover stories about their ancestors.

The event will take place at the Mexican American Unity Council in San Antonio. Attendance is free, but advance registration through AARP is required.
