Trail Trekkers℠ hike...

Let’s hit the trail...Spend a Saturday morning with AARP in St. Louis on a guided hike at Don Robinson State Park in Cedar Hill, MO. Our Trail Trekkers℠ program explores a different trail each month. Our hiking team will take care of everything – you just need your comfortable hiking shoes/boots, water, and sense of adventure!

Check in starts at 7:30 am. The hike will start at 8:00 am. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and repellent. A hat, a hiking pole, and hard sole boots is also a good idea. In addition, everyone must bring their own supply of water - we will all need it!

Trail Info: Sandstone Canyon is a 4-mile loop (there will be a 2.5-mile loop available also). The trail is mostly packed earth with some flat rocks with creek crossings, and there are some dry water falls along with hilly terrain.

• Registration is required for participation.
• Information must be completed in its entirety.
• Each participant must complete their own registration process.
• Participants must be 18 years of age.
• Each registrant will receive a confirmation and reminder with meet-up information.
• Each registrant will be required to agree to the terms and conditions during the registration process.

Don Robinson State Park is located in the upper watershed of the LaBarque Creek and features sandstone box canyons, shelter caves, cliffs, glades and upland and bottomland forests. The wooded hillsides buffer any outside noise and the interesting sandstone canyons make it easy to forget there is a world outside.
