Future Mobility: Rideshare & Autonomous Vehicles

Rideshare, on-demand transportation, and autonomous vehicles could expand mobility, but only if they are affordable, accessible and easy to use.

Join AARP California and Mpact, a non-profit organization dedicated to building communities around transit, for a roundtable that examines how these services work today, what keeps many older adults from using them, and what customer support, safety, payment and accessibility features are needed so future mobility does not leave people behind. We’ll also explore how services can help bridge the first- and last-mile gap that can make it challenging for many to access public transportation.

Featured speakers include representatives from Uber and Waymo.
