Walk Audits to Create Safer Communities

Discover how walk audits can be a wonderful way for residents to actively participate in assessing their neighborhood. By evaluating sidewalks, crossings, lighting, and other features that impact mobility and safety, community members can feel more connected and empowered. 

Participants will gain helpful tips for conducting an AARP walk audit effectively and using what they find to advocate for meaningful improvements. You will hear from and engage directly with AARP local issue experts and our national partners from MPACT. Together, we can make our communities more welcoming and accessible for everyone!
