Feel more confident about what to do before, during, and after an emergency, using practical steps that fit your needs, supports, and routines.

In this webinar, you can learn straightforward, action-focused ways to prepare for disasters and everyday emergencies when you or someone you care for has access and functional needs.

You can walk away with guidance and resources you can use immediately to reduce stress, improve safety, and support recovery.

You can learn how to:

  • Build a personal emergency plan that reflects your mobility, communication, medical, sensory, or cognitive needs
  • Create a simple communication plan for family, neighbors, caregivers, and service providers
  • Prepare a “go kit” and “stay kit” (including medications, power/charging needs, and essential equipment)
  • Plan for transportation, evacuation, sheltering, and service animals/pets (if applicable)
  • Identify local and national resources that support readiness, response, and recovery
  • Take next steps after an event (replacing supplies, documenting needs, navigating assistance)

Getting started is easy. Bring questions—there will be time for Q&A or guided discussion. Resources and links referenced during the session will be shared with registrants.
