Trail Trekkers℠ hike…

Let’s hit the trail...Spend a Saturday morning with AARP St. Louis on a guided hike on the Lime Kiln Trail at Rockwoods Reservation in Wildwood, MO. Our Trail Trekkers℠ program explores a different trail each month. Our hiking team will take care of everything – you just need your comfortable hiking shoes/boots, water, and sense of adventure!

Check in starts at 7:30 AM. This 3.2 mile loop hike will start at 8:00 AM.

Additional hike information will be sent in the reminder email the day before the hike.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and repellant. A hat, wearing layers and bringing a hiking pole is also a good idea. In addition, everyone must bring their own supply of water - we will all need it!

The area harbors a rich diversity of plant and animal life as well as springs, caves, and rock formations. Cool, moist, north facing ravines and lush creek bottoms contrast with the nearby arid, rocky ridge tops, and south slopes.
