AARP MD Day of Service 2026

Join AARP Maryland for a Day of Service with our 2026 Community Challenge grantee, Neighborhood Companions Inc., at Chestnut Park on Tuesday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Volunteers will help with garden cleanup, weeding, light trash removal, mulching, grass cutting, and potentially planting native plants for the park’s butterfly garden. NeighborSpace of Baltimore County will also be onsite to help guide the project.

Lunch will be provided. Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and bring water. Gloves and hand trowels are recommended if you have them.

Come spend the day giving back, getting your hands dirty, and supporting a project that will benefit the Chestnut Park community!
