Invitation to Join State Presidents Session 1: Becoming a More Inclusive Volunteer 

The Office of Volunteer Engagement’s Cultural Leadership Development training team is hosting a 90-minute virtual session – exclusively for AARP State Presidents and Regional Volunteer Directors.  We invite you to experience the introductory workshop that over 1,000 AARP volunteers have attended.  During Session 1 of our “Becoming a More Inclusive Volunteer” training series, we will discuss key concepts such as diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Participants gain a greater shared understanding of these concepts and identify actionable steps for how to increase the sense of belonging felt by all AARP volunteers.  

This special July 15^th workshop is optional. It is exclusively for AARP State Presidents and Regional Volunteer Directors who would like to participate. These workshops are not recorded.
