Listen up, ladies. This series is for you!

Whether you’re entering early perimenopause or in the throes of menopause, AARP Ohio is bringing together women’s health experts to lead conversations designed for women who want answers, support, and expert guidance through the transition.

In this session, Dr. Linda Bradley will discuss perimenopausal concerns including:

· Evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding – and specifically, when to worry: the line between normal perimenopausal irregularity and bleeding that needs biopsy or imaging, since endometrial cancer risk rises with age;

· Fertility and pregnancy risk in perimenopause – the “I thought I couldn’t get pregnant anymore” conversation, which ties directly to a contraception piece;

· How perimenopause presents differently across racial and ethnic groups – timing of onset, symptom burden, and access to care all vary, and it’s a piece often left out of these conversations.
