AARP is here to help fight fraud and give you the tools and resources you need to protect yourself and your family. We are showing up where people live — working with local organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to bring trusted fraud prevention resources directly into neighborhoods. 

With fraud and scams rampant, AARP is committed to help empower residents with simple, actionable steps that can better protect them and their families from scams and identity theft.

Join us for this year’s Scam Jam to learn about the latest frauds and scams with our local and state guests. Special speakers will offer expert insights and tips to help individuals better spot and avoid potential scams. Renee Shaw from KET will moderate a speaker panel session to answer your questions.

Featured Speaker: This year, Mary Ellen Strange, who fell victim to a serious scam,  will share her personal story and insights.
