AARP California Lobby Day

AARP California invites you to participate in Virtual Lobby Day on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. PT to help advance state legislation on financial security (SB 886), transportation (AB 1599 and AB 1976), and housing (AB 2074).

1. Our lobby day will start with a virtual rally with AARP staff and volunteers from 9 – 9:30 a.m. PT.

2. AARP staff and volunteers will then meet virtually with legislative offices from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. PT to discuss AARP California’s priority legislation.

3. Staff and volunteers will then reconvene from 4 – 4:30 p.m. PT for a virtual debrief of the meetings.

Additional details will be sent directly via email and provided during the mandatory virtual Lobby Day training. Please ensure you are registered for one of the following mandatory trainings in addition to registering for Lobby Day itself:
