Culture, healing, and brain health connects to break stigma, address disparities, and build strength within the African American and black community, focusing on education, resources, and knowledge from expert leaders.

Please join AARP AR to hear expert insights from guest speaker Jill Thompson of the Alzheimer’s Association-Arkansas Chapter, and participate in a panel discussion moderated by Karen Walker of Aging Wiser. The event will include yoga instruction, barbershop talks for men, sister circle for women, as well as prize opportunities and additional activities. A light lunch will be provided.

Spaces for the Yoga class are limited, and registration must be completed online to sign up for a session. If you are interested in attending a Yoga session, please choose your session when registering. Attendees will be required to complete a waiver form before beginning the class. You must bring your own yoga mat, towel, or blanket for Floor-based Yoga session (chairs will also be available).
