Hoosier Property Taxes: The Local Impact

AARP Indiana invites residents of Lake County to participate in a virtual Local Property Tax Forum on August 18, designed to help older adults and community stakeholders better understand and prepare for the anticipated impacts of Senate Enrolled Act 1 (SEA 1 - 2025) on Indiana property tax laws.

In partnership with the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) and Accelerate Indiana’s Municipalities (AIM), the forum will feature a panel of speakers including economist Larry DeBoer, and local elected officials. Together, they will break down the complexities of Indiana’s evolving property tax system and gain valuable insights into how property taxes in your communities are changing.
